The disciplinary committee of the Dutch Football Association has suspended Ajax player Zlatan Ibrahimovic for six matches, of which one is conditional. The striker will effectively miss all but one of the remaining games of the season.
Ajax's captain Christian Chivu was suspended for three matches, while Feyenoord striker Pierre van Hooijdonk was suspended for three games, one of which is conditional.
All suspensions were handed out following incidents in the match Feyenoord - Ajax in the semi-final of the Dutch cup, which was played on April 16.
Both clubs have four working days to contest the suspensions, after which the case might end up before the appeals commission of the Football Association.
