Most Ajax players are currently enjoying their summer break. But starting at the end of June, players will start phasing back into Ajax. The first open training takes place on Wednesday, June 27. The exact time of the training has not yet been announced.
The first actual training is on the agenda two days before the first open one. On that day, the Ajax players without interland commitments will report to the Toekomst sports complex. The first training days are not open to the public.
But the June 27th practice is. This first open training is, traditionally, very well attended, and it’s a unique opportunity to support Ajax players in their quest to win their third national championship in a row.
Three days later, the first practice match is scheduled. On June 30 (as of 2.30p.m.), Ajax plays at SV Huizen.
The season’s first official match is on August 5. The Johan Cruijff Plate match will take place between Ajax and cup winner PSV, starting at 8p.m. Competition play begins the following week.
