El Hamdaoui brings Morocco to victory

Mounir El Hamdaoui brought Morocco to a win. The Ajax player scored the only goal in the Africa Cup 2010 qualification match against Tanzania before halftime.

Morocco is now in the lead in their group, but their competition still has to play on Sunday. Morocco has four points in two games.

Cameroon saw action against Congo in the Africa Cup qualifying round. Eyong Enoh was on the starting team, and with his country, came no further than a 1-1 tie on home soil. In fact, Congo scored the tying goal for Cameroon, as the guests shot into their own goal.

Jong Oranje, without any Ajax contribution, lost their first play-off duel to qualify for the European Cup, 3-1 against the Ukraine. The return match in the Ukraine takes place on Tuesday. Ajax player Siem de Jong will have to sit out due to a hamstring injury, which will sideline him for two to four weeks.
