Cvitanich and Suarez too much for ADO

Ajax began furiously against ADO Den Haag. After four minutes Luis Suarez scored, but the forward was judged to be offside when Urby Emanuelson gave the cross. But a few minutes later, Ajax did open the score. This time Suarez was the crosser and Dario Cvitanich the finisher. The striker went by goalkeeper Robert Zwinkels and scored: 1-0.
Suarez was at times unstoppable for his defender Mitchell Piqué. The Uruguayan forward provided many good crosses for his teammates. In the 18th minute, he corssed again to Cvitanich, who took the pass at the first post and put the ball in the back of the net again.
Fifteen minutes after the second Ajax goal, coach Marco van Basten took off Oleguer, and replaced him with Bruno Silva. ,,We thought Oleguer did not play well'', Van Basten said. ,,If I have seven substitutes on the bench ready to come on, I don't hesitate.”
After halftime Ajax kept pushing ADO back and the duo Suarez/ Cvitanich kept on being dangerous. The Argentinian striker saw a good header saved by Zwinkels, but not much later he scored his third goal of the afternoon when he headed in a cross by Suarez. ,,Dario did well", Van Basten said. ,,He scored three times today and has now scored six times in three matches. He is always there to strike at the right time."
,,It is a pity that we did not score more, but then again 3-0 is a good result and we can only be happy with it'', Van Basten said." ADO Den Haag coach André Wetzel agreed: ,,We can be happy that we only lost by 3-0."
