Ajax has reached an agreement with Dragisa Gudelj. The defender has signed a contract in Amsterdam which goes into effect on July 1, 2015, and lasts for 3 seasons, until June 30, 2018.
Gudelj was born on November 8, 1997 in Breda and holds dual citizenship of the Netherlands and Serbia. The 17 year-old Serbian youth international comes from the NAC Breda youth academy. He will join the Ajax Reserves selection next season.
“This is a very important step for me”, said Dragisa Gudelj. “I want to develop, and I can definitely do that with the Ajax Reserves. With the help of all of the coaches around me, my aim is to become a better player in all respects. Of course, it’s my dream to make it to the first team. The fact that I can play here with my brother Nemanja is very special. We have a very close relationship. It’s great that he will be nearby.”
