Ajax Cape Town have secured the services of four outstanding Congolese players, providing a massive boost to coach Gordon Igesund in his attempts to build a side that is able to challenge for top honours next season.

The players all arrive from TP Mazembe in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the team which beat Premier Soccer League champions Orlando Pirates on Sunday in the Vodacom Challenge.

Bageta Dikilu (25-years-old) and Tshinyama Tsholola (27) are defenders, while Mulekelayi Kanku (24) is an attacking midfielder, eager to launch forward and support the front two.

The final player is Mwamba Musasa (20), who can play either wide on either the right or left of midfielder.

The quartet have proven ability of playing at the highest level of African football having been part of the amazing Champions League runs by TP Mazembe in recent seasons.

Meanwhile, the future of Bafana Bafana midfielder Dillon Sheppard is no clearer this week. Sheppard went on trial in Russia two-weeks-ago and he has yet to inform the club whether he will be staying permanently in Europe next season.
