Wesley Sneijder and Rafael van der Vaart played the entire match against Moldova. Both Ajax players scored in the match that Holland won with 5-0. It was the first full match for Sneijder in the national team.
The result was not important for qualification for Euro 2004. Holland were already certain of the second place in their group, behind the Czech Republic; the Dutch national team will play two play-off matches on 15 and 19 November.
After Kluivert had made it 1-0 (his 40th goal for Holland in 73 international matches), Sneijder scored 2-0 in the 51st minute.
Pierre van Hooijdonk scored 3-0 and Rafael van der Vaart signed for 4-0 in Eindhoven. Robben made it 5-0.
The draw for the play-off matches will be held on Monday. Holland will face Spain, Russia, Turkey, Schotland, Latvia, Slovania, Norway, Croatia or Wales.

In Holland's group, first-placed Czech Republic defeated Austria 3-2. Tomás Galásek played the whole match, Zdenek Grygera watched from the sideline as he is still recovering from a thigh injury.
