Ajax loans out Milik from Bayer Leverkusen

Ajax has reached an agreement with Arkadiusz Mikil and Bayer Leverkusen. The forward is being loaned out from the German club, where he is currently under contract. The agreement runs for one season, until June 30, 2015. The left-footer played last season at FC Augsburg, on a loan out basis. An option to buy is included in the agreement.

The Polish forward Arkadiusz Milik, who was born on February 28 1994 in Tychy, is pleased with this move to Ajax. “Ajax is a big club with a good coach. They’ve won the national championship often. I hope to be a great asset for the team next season. I’m looking forward to playing in the Dutch competition. Obviously, I’m hoping to score many goals.”

Ajax’ director of football affairs Marc Overmars is pleased with the addition. “At Ajax, we wanted to ensure a point of play in the offense. I think that Milik matches this profile. He’s a player who can keep the ball because he’s physically strong, has a good shot, and is dangerous in the box.”
