Ajax hire out Kwame Quansah

Ajax hire out Kwame Quansah to Swedish club A.I.K. The clubs have reached agreement for a period of one season. Us usual, Ajax do not disclose financial details of the agreement.

Kwame Quansah was hired out to Belgian side Germinal Beerschot Antwerpen by Ajax last season. He played 25 matches in the highest Belgian league and scored 10 times.

In the 2001-2002 season, Quansah won the national title with Ajax 2 in the league for second teams. Before coming to Ajax, Quansah played for Ghanese side Kotoko. He played one match for Ghana under 17.

Quansah was on the roster for Ajax 2 this season. In the first friendly in the preparation for the new season, 4-1 to Ajax against Haarlem 2 last Saturday, he scored twice in 12 minutes for the team of coaches John van 't Schip and Marco van Basten.

Quansah's new club Allmänna Idrottsklubben has earned 10 national titles and 6 cups. The last time A.I.K. won the championship in Sweden was in 1998.
