Ajax and United reach deal for Blind

Ajax and Manchester United have reached an agreement for the transfer of Daley Blind. An estimated €17,5 million is estimated in the transfer deal to the English club. His contract with Ajax had been valid until June 30, 2016. The deal between the clubs is contingent on the fulfillment of a number of conditions.

Blind, born on March 9, 1990, in Amsterdam, comes from Ajax’s youth academy. He made his debut on December 7, 2008, in the FC Volendam – Ajax (1-2) competition match. The left-footed international was loaned out to FC Groningen during the second half of the 2009-2010 season. He’s played a total of 143 official matches to date in Ajax’s first team, scoring three times. Blind won the national championship four times with Ajax, in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. He also won the Johan Cruijff Shield in 2013.
