Ajax have reached agreement with Kenneth Perez about the immediate termination of his contract.
The Dane, who will be 34 on Friday, made his debut for Ajax in his home town Copenhagen in the match against FC Copenhagen (1-2) on 9 August 2006. At the start of the 2007-2008 season, Perez left for PSV, only to be re-signed by Ajax in the winter break. The midfielder played 66 offical matches for Ajax, scoring 26 goals.
Kenneth Perez: ,,I am now going to focus on my future. I wish Ajax much success and I want to thank everyone for the support they gave me.” Technical manager Danny Blind: ,,We have just shaken hands. We think it is good for Ajax and Kenneth that the unpleasant situation is now behind us. We wish him much success with what he is going to do.”
