Eyong Enoh retired after half an hour with a hamstring injury.  He is thus a question mark for the upcoming match against Manchester United.</description>

Fifteen minutes before time, Simon Poulsen placed an attempt by Nicolás Lodeiro into his own goal.  Rasmus Elm put AZ in the lead in the first half.  The point difference between the teams remains at five points due to the tie.</description>

The current Eredivisie leader was too strong in the round of sixteen KNVB Cup match, and won 2-3.  Siem de Jong scored both goals for Ajax.  On Sunday, Ajax will meet AZ again.</description>
